The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing will champion Product Life Cycle Management and work closely with the Product Engineering team on our innovation program to identify, develop and launch updated products of high value to our customers worldwide. This leadership role will be a key contributor to the global strategic plan to set the direction of the organization based upon obsession toward solving customer problems, aligning strategy and tactics based on competitor moves and embracing 80/20 to intensely focus on the things that matter most to our success.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Drive and manages key Marketing and Product Management programs. Develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives for achieving BAND-IT growth objectives, while providing leadership for Product Management in achieving it product lifecycle management and margin optimization goals. Leads an orchestrated team effort of Marketing and Product Management professionals in developing and implementing effective Go-to-Market strategy for new product launch.

REPORTING TO : VP Sales and Marketing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages a team of Marketing and Product Management professionals in developing and achieving SMART performance goals. Provides guidance and mentorship to drive their professional development and growth.

  • Leads analysis of Total Addressable Market, Served Available Market, and Target Market; and develops go-to-market strategy to drive realization of full market potential.

  • Collects, analyses and champions voice of customer (VOC) in driving Marketing prioritization and Product Lifecycle Management.

  • Direct Product Lifecycle Management with a deep understanding of our current and potential product portfolio. Ensure new products and patents are pipelined as a continuous source of BAND-IT’s growth and market competitiveness. Apply 80/20 methodology in product mid-cycle maintenance and retirement while achieving margin optimization.

  • Oversees marketing content development and effectiveness. Work with Marketing team members to create content and communication strategy that addresses each part of the business development journey, online and offline, from awareness to purchase.

  • Champions Marketing digitalization.

  • Ensures sales enablement by equipping our sales teams to win more deals with messaging, sales strategies, materials, tools, and market knowledge with the aim of increasing close rates, competitor win rates, and sales proactiveness (i.e., hunter vs. gatherer mindset shift).

  • Drives channel partners enablement by ensuring our partners and channels are equipped with the materials, training, and support they need in order to succeed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business Administration required; Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.

  • At least 8+ years of related experience required.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires use of hands and arms at least 60% of the time.

  • Majority of the time is spent sitting.

  • Lifting requirements are generally less than 10 lbs. Manual lifting could reach the company maximum of 35 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Time is primarily spent in a climate-controlled office environment with balance in the shop.

  • Noise exposure is moderate.

Mental/Visual Demands:

  • Close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are necessary to perform the job functions.

COMPENSATION:

145,000.00 to 175,000.00 annually

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $117,500.00 - $176,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
