This full-time, salaried team member will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be based out of the Liquid Controls (LC) headquarters in Lake Bluff, IL.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate highly creative aptitude with lateral thinking tendencies and possess the ability to organize and manage many concurrent tasks and projects effectively to meet established deadlines or schedules. Resourcefulness is another primary skill set that will lead to success in this role. The ability to locate and utilize outside resources and/or tools to move at a faster pace while delivering high quality output will be essential.
Minimum requirements of BS in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Journalism or related major, and/or 3+ years of experience managing a similar role in B2B or B2C environment.
Create, manage, and distribute creative marketing content and materials to support global product commercial strategy and product roadmaps, including:
Website editing (experience in modular website editing such as Drupal a plus)
Ads (traditional print, and digital)
Social media campaigns
Video creation (explainer videos, YouTube, etc.)
Product manuals (creative layout and publishing)
Quick start guides (design and publishing)
Technical guides, bulletins
Social media management / reporting
Website updates / maintenance
Google ads management / reporting
Newsletters and eblasts to channel partners / customers
Trade show planning, coordination, and execution for Liquid Controls
Booth design, displays, and layout
Creative & cutting edge promotional strategies / messaging
Coordination with show planners on promotional opportunities
Coordination between commercial and technical teams to get appropriate hardware, software, and demos necessary to convey the full promotional message.
Manage the Trade Show Planner tool to ensure all show details are updated and communicated to each exhibitor who plans to attend each show.
Manage all show planning and logistics:
Register, select booth location, pay fees, exhibitor badges, manage marketing opportunities
Order Furniture, displays, electrical, carpet, booth hardware, etc
Arrange promotional items: Brochures, promotional gifts
Work with commercial team to manage hotel bookings for show attendees per their preferences
Work with Service team to arrange shipping of all items being shipped to the show.
Internal Marketing Communications Support
Support Liquid Controls internal HR and Commercial communication activities, training, and general internal branding
Business papers (letter heads, PPTs, business cards, etc)
Brand style guides / management / enforcement
Strong aptitudes required:
Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Microsoft office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Innate ability to see our business from the customer’s and end-user’s point of view and ability to visually communicate our value according their needs.
Strong aptitudes desired:
Social networks - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
Desktop publishing tools
Website editing tools such as Drupal or similar website platform
Project management / task management tools
Social network management tools (Hootsuite, etc.)

Android / iOS app dashboard management
UX design & implementation on industrial or consumer devices
