BUSINESS UNIT SUMMARY (WARREN RUPP, INC)
Warren Rupp Inc (WRI) specializes in pumping solutions, and we have been providing highly engineered air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps to our customers for over 55 years (founded in 1965). Our engineered solutions for various industrial markets are offered through Versamatic and SANDPIPER brands. Products are sold worldwide through a network of independent, factory-authorized distributors.
The HRBP will serve as a value-added business partner and internal consultant to the management team at Warren Rupp, providing coaching and advice. He/She will design and administer programs such as compensation and benefits, employment, employee engagement, recruitment, new hire orientation, training and development, medical leave administration, and performance management. Responsible for the maintenance of employee records, and the processing of employee information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as an advocate for all WRI personnel. Provide customer service and coaching/advice to managers and associates related to general work and employee related issues and HR systems support.
Working with the Senior Leadership Team, support the annual engagement survey process that includes data analysis and action plan execution.
Manage the talent acquisition process for salary and hourly positions that includes sourcing, interviewing, job offer process and advising managers on candidate selection. Lead the new hire orientation process.
Ensure compliance across company policies and procedures related to wages, benefits, job transfers and other related items. Respond to employee inquiries.
Assist in the development and roll-out of organization development initiatives and trainings across the organization, partnering with external resources where appropriate.
Responsible for data integrity across the HR Workday system and processes. Create and generate reports for internal consumption and for various regulatory purposes.
Administer and communicate the annual performance management (reviews) and compensation (merit) programs.
Lead the leave of absence process. Responsible for oversight and administration of the medical leave process.
Partner with IDEX Corporate to administer HR shared services including benefits administration, leave administration, and HR systems. Coordinate annual Benefits Open Enrollment process.
Responsible for working with the payroll function to ensure the accurate processing of payroll.
Administer Company communication program.
Administer temporary staffing process from approved requisition through on-boarding.
Other duties as assigned.
B.S./B.A. in Business, Human Resources or a related field
Master’s degree preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP designation desired
5+ years of prior HR Generalist/Business Partner experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential key employee and business information.
Approachable, with a relaxed and professional demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required.
Assignments require independent thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
Working computer knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
Experience with HRIS – Workday experience preferred.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Ability to use standard office equipment, i.e. telephone, computer, printer, etc.
Must be comfortable working in both an office and production environment, moving about throughout the facility.
