Pulsafeeder is on the verge of wide-ranging product innovation and is seeking to build out its sales team to position itself for scalable growth.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire sales process within the petrochemical vertical in North America. This will include both prospecting new opportunities as well as managing key distributor accounts. They will work with our global sites in UAE and India to ensure that we have a global approach to the petrochemical market and be able to scale the successes in these regions to North America.
The successful candidate will be able to balance prospecting and relationship-building activities to achieve measurable growth.
Success will be defined by the individual’s ability to grow the opportunity funnel, ensure Pulsafeeder is on key customers approved vendor lists, as well as achieve plan targets in Orders, Sales, and Margin in the defined accounts.
This individual will have tremendous visibility within Pulsafeeder and other IDEX business units and will report directly to the Commercial Director for Pulsafeeder EPO Products. They will also be a key partner in new product development activities for the high spec markets and in strategy efforts.
DUTIES AND RESPOSNIBILITIES:
Launch direct contact campaigns consisting of cold-calls, in-person meetings, and group presentations to build alliances with key decision-makers in the customer procurement chain.
Cultivate existing channel partners (distributors) and OEMs to help Pulsafeeder achieve growth in the high spec and petrochemical markets.
Source new channel partners that will work with EPC’s, system integrators and OEM’s to help Pulsafeeder penetrate and grow the petrochemical market.
Develop strategies to maximize output from key channel partners.
Close complex project sales within key distributor accounts
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to adapt in a complex sales environment
Ability to prioritize and act independently
Minimum of 5 years of experience selling complex engineered, projects
Experience in Petrochemical and Refinery applications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America
Authorization to work in the US on an on-going basis
Working remotely or in the office in Rochester, NY – negotiable
Travel to customer sites and manufacturing facilities
