To support our Sales Team, we are seeking a colleague based remotely in Germany as a Global Account Manager (m/w/d)
Being a Global Account Manager on our team, you are responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with our Fluidics business while significantly driving sales success within assigned major accounts in the Analytical Instrumentation market in Europe.
Develop, manage, and guide sales activities for assigned major accounts.
Create, implement, and update the 3 / 5 years strategic plan for the assigned global account(s) and drive the sales growth through collaboration with members of the global account sales and support team.
Monitor and adapt the strategy as required based upon technology, products, market, and competitive forces to optimize IH&S fluidics business resources.
Constant investment in developing stronger relationships with key function at all level of the account organization.
Utilize IH&S ERP system for accurate recording of all customer information, projects, and maintain timely forecasting information.
Manage and negotiate the agreements/contract including pricing.
Develop the strategy with sales leadership, marketing, and product managers to explore new customer and market opportunities and provide strategic feedback to IH&S teams.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent university degree in Science and/or Engineering. (Related fields to Analytical instrumentation (LC, MS), Biotechnology and/or IVD applications are desired)
A minimum of 5+ year experience in B2B sales working with leading global scientific instrumentation OEMs, within the Analytical Instrumentation markets is required. (Biotechnology and IVD markets are a plus)
Must have proven experience closing large contracts, ideally with top global OEMs.
Solid understanding of Liquid Chromatography and separation and analysis techniques such as Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry.
Knowledge of DNA sequencing, Genomics and Proteomics, and proteomics is a plus.
Excellent customer relationship skills & key account management skills is required.
Business fluent language skills in English and German, other languages are a plus.
Ability to travel internationally is a requirement.
