This position is responsibility to maximize sales growth the territory through distribution and direct. This person is able to leverage strong commercial and technical skills as well as industry experience to recognize customer needs and apply IDEX Energy (Liquid Controls / Corken) capabilities and technologies. Location flexible with preference to be located in Canada.


  • Meets or exceeds territory sales revenue forecast as established by the RSM, and Business Unit management.

  • Demonstrates leadership skills by influencing, driving for results and resource commitment.

  • Develop and manages sales strategy and “project” activity in the assigned territory including leading customer negations, developing pricing strategies, managing the portfolio of accounts and managing all aspects of the product sales cycle.

  • Fully understands and leverages Liquid Controls and Corken’s value proposition to maximize price and sales to grow and protect share.

  • Owns the technical relationship with customers by providing consistent and expert technical support.

  • Cultivates relationships with industry partners to strengthen our position in the marketplace.

  • Builds and executes on a call plan with distributors, end users and OEMs.

  • Facilitate required training to distributor personnel on commercial and technical issues.

  • Actively gathers and provides the company with new product ideas, market trends, territory market data, and competitive intelligence.

  • Successfully eliminates price as an objective when delivering new products or projects.

  • Provides customer feedback and needs to the organization to assist in the planning process.

  • Other duties as assigned by Management



  • Bachelor of Engineering or related field of study and / or master of Engineering and Business

  • Minimum of five years of experience sales or product management experience in progressively more complex projects that involved both commercial and technical issues in industrial and / or measurement /flow markets.


  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, planning skills and presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead or support cross functional teams without a solid reporting line.

  • Selling and relationship skills.

  • Willingness to travel, including 60% overnight stay.


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Computer skills including CRM programs such as or Microsoft dynamics.


  • Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.

  • Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.

  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

  • General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.


  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and all levels of corporate and company personnel.

  • Works closely with other unit field sales management, other IDEX business units, IDEX Strategic Account Management organization, Customer Support Center (CSC), Applications and Product Engineering, Warranty & Repair, Information Systems, and Accounting.
