The VP Marketing Global Dispensing is a key member of the global business leadership team. They will work with the regional product and marketing managers to plan and oversee the organization's development and execution of their global product/solution road map centered around satisfying customers’ needs to grow in existing and new markets. Activities include direct leadership of marketing and product management for the Americas making deliberate choices for go-to-market approach and project deployment for the region. In addition to managing four product managers directly, they’ll partner with regional marketing teams (approx. 6 managers) , global R&D, and commercial/service teams to drive the business. The ideal candidate will drive financial excellence by identifying and executing on business expansion opportunities and new product innovation including IoT solutions.

This individual will play a dual role leading the Marketing team for Fluid Management Americas which will be a primary focus in the first 6-9 months. In this role they will coordinate all marketing activities and directly lead a team of four. This individual will be responsible for building a world class marketing team including being responsible for the prioritization and resource allocation of global and regional projects. As a top priority, this individual will direct our digitalization initiative for all of Dispensing. They’ll partner with regional GMs, global R&D, and commercial/service teams to drive the business.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish near and long-term marketing objectives, plans, and policies globally.

  • Define and execute Product/Solution Road Map to drive sales growth.

  • Identify innovation opportunities through VOC related to colorant, paint, and key customer’s business needs and end user operators.

  • Work with regional product managers to build and develop AA teams, ensuring that the regional teams are adequately resourced with the appropriate training, tools and support to meet their objectives.

  • Manage and coordinate product management, working with sales, engineering and manufacturing to determine competitiveness of new features and technologies.

  • Define blueprint for marcom platforms and materials relevant to all regions while maintaining effective communications for the transfer and adoption of best practices.

  • Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the marketing organization including seamless transfer and adoption of best practices

  • Implement innovation processes to identify and analyze new approaches to solving customers’ needs and run competitive analyses.

  • Define coherent product line strategy addressing geographical expansion and distribution penetration opportunities.

  • Be a key business leader active at both the global level within the Dispensing business and locally in the Americas with Fluid Management team

  • Maintain in understanding of macro technical trends in the paint industry, customer trends, competitive product trends and paint industry regulations.


  • Experience with leading and directing global commercial/marketing teams

  • Strong communicator with a clear vision for performance standards in a marketing environment.

  • Ability to drive effective collaboration across multiple regions and business disciplines.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, practices, and theories. Able to draw on experiences to drive process improvement.

  • Team player, works well with others, proactive and detail oriented. Ability to motivate and mobilize individuals behind strategies to maximize the success of the business.

  • Confident and credible when working with internal and external groups at all levels. Able to use their knowledge and credibility to influence individuals and teams to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ability to coach\mentor talent with a track record of developing talent

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products, on time and meeting original cost targets and value proposition to the customer

  • Understanding and desire to drive complexity reduction within product management and decision-making processes

  • Positive history of building high performance teams

  • Willing to travel globally (up to 25-30%) to work with global teams, attend meetings, meet customers etc.


  • BS in Marketing or Business plus a master’s degree in one of the major marketing disciplines and/or an MBA.

  • Minimum of 10-15 years managing a marketing or product management function.

  • 5+ years working with international teams including experience in USA, Europe, India and Asia.
